New Delhi: Fifty people, including a three-year-old from two groups, tested positive for Kapashera disease (Kovid-19) in Kapashera and Tughlakabad extensions in two days, according to the Delhi government.
A case was reported from a double-story building in Kapsera in south-west Delhi. Another 15 cases were reported from a Tughlakabad Extension area of the Southeast District.
The government and civilian agencies have been working in the areas for the last two weeks to prevent the spread of the virus after the first cases are detected.

The relevant areas were also declared as control zones when positive cases were encountered. As of Saturday, there are 95 conference areas in Delhi.
However, both Covid -19 is not the first cluster to report cases. On 23 April, at least 46 people tested positive for Covid -19 from two lanes of a previously notified control area in Jahangirpuri.
Kapashera
According to district administration officials, a woman living in a building in Theke Wali street near the deputy commissioner’s office tested positive for the disease on 18 April. As a result, the district administration sealed the densely populated building, which houses about 200 people, and declared the lane a control area on 19 April.
The building has now become a Kovid-19 hot spot.
District Magistrate of South West Rahul Singh said that although sealing the guidelines when three cases have been reported in one case, the district administration made an “active decision” to seal the building with only one case report. Taken, to ensure that the virus did not spread further.
Kasper is also home to thousands of migrant workers who work in different parts of the national capital and share small single rooms with other workers.
“We conducted a survey of 175 residents of the building on 20 April and 22 April and collected these samples Of these samples were sent to the NIB laboratory in Noida, 67 returned on Friday evening, and 41 were positive. We expect the remaining exam results to come in a few days, ”said Singh.
He said that due to the pendency of cases in the Noida laboratory, the examination result was delayed. “All people who test positive are asymptomatic, and new tests will be done to assess their current condition,” he said.
According to former councilor Anil Yadav, the building has entries in a two-lane area. There is a two-story building in front of the plot, while there are rooms in the back room. Yadav said that there are 60-65 rooms in all. He said that vigilance and cleanliness campaign has been taken forward.
Tughlakabad Extn
15 residents from 24 to 28 of the Tughlakabad Extension, which was previously declared zone zones, have tested positive for Kovid-19. The tests were conducted on 20 April and the results returned on 30 April evening.
These tests were also sent to the NIB Lab in Noida. Government officials said, 40 more results were pending from here.
Lanes 26 and 27 of the Tughlakabad Extension were declared a control zone on April 17 after a positive test by three people.
On 19 April, 35 more people tested positive from the same area, after which three more lanes – 24, 25, and 28 – were added to the control area.
District administration officials said that during a door-to-door survey, some people exhibited symptoms, after which 87 residents were tested.
“The test reports of 47 people have come out, out of which 15 have tested positive,” said an official.
Administration officials said they had stepped up surveillance in all lanes, and the area was completely sealed.

Councilor of Tughlakabad Extension Poonam Bhati said that the disinfection practice has been carried forward and regular checks are being done. However, she said the test should be conducted again as the initial report was delayed by more than a week. “More samples should be collected,” she said.
Meanwhile, two policemen — an assistant sub-inspector and a constable from Jahangirpuri police station who had previously tested positive for coronovirus — returned on Saturday, said DCP (North-West), Vijayanta Arya.
