According to news agency ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with all the Chief Ministers on Wednesday to discuss India’s position in the fight against coronovirus disease and the way forward.

Gauba told the chief secretaries that they should have intensive contact with the participants of the Tablighi Jamaat “as it increased the risk of Kovid-19’s control efforts,” a government statement said.

Gauba said the exercise should be carried out “on a war footing”.

According to the World Health Organization database, the disease is in the local transmission stage in India.
