Uttar Pradesh chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said the lockdown imposed for spreading coronovirus would be lifted on April 15, but cautioned that a mechanism should be developed to avoid congestion otherwise all efforts would go in vain.
In a video-conference with the state parliamentarians, the chief minister also sought his suggestions for smooth movement of people and restoration of services after the lockout.
“The lockdown will be lifted on April 15. We have to make sure that there is no rush. You have your help and cooperation in this regard.
The reason for this is that the lockdown is removed and if there is a crowd, all our Adityanath Told MPs that the efforts would go in vain.

The statement said suggestions were sought on which organizations should be given which exemption. “The challenges will remain even after the lockdown is lifted.
Thus, after the lockdown is removed, we need to prepare in advance to keep the situation under control. Making the public aware of social disturbances and its public spaces Adherence should be our first priority., ”She said.
The CM appealed to all MPs and Ministers to contribute Rs 1 crore each in one month’s salary of MLAs for MP / MLA fund as well as Uttar Pradesh COVID Care Fund.
Meanwhile, another statement released in the evening said that Adityanath has donated one month’s salary and Rs 1 crore from his MLA Fund to UP Kovid Care Fund.
The Chief Minister said that BSP chief Mayawati has also appealed to her MLAs to contribute to this fund. Adityanath said that this fund will help in increasing the capacity of medical colleges and district level hospitals.
“At the district level, funds will be spent on the purchase and arrangement of ventilators, PPE, isolation wards, testing labs.
There is an effort to collect around Rs 1,500 crore in this fund to expedite the necessary works,” he said. Apart from this, he also called upon ordinary people to contribute to this fund.
The UP Chief Minister said that it has been decided to pay Rs 1,000 to Paytm vendors, laborers, e-rickshaw drivers, rickshaw drivers and daily commuters across the state.
In a statement, the Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday said that nearly 2 lakh families in the state would be given immediate financial assistance of Rs 1,000 each in view of the outbreak of coronavirus.

“It has been decided to transfer this amount directly to their accounts,” he said. For those who do not have any ration card or bank account, Adityanath appealed to the MPs and Ministers to identify such people and open their bank accounts and get Rs 1,000 transferred to their accounts.
Apart from this, Adityanath said that about 3.50 lakh workers neither have ration cards nor do they have bank accounts. Such people should also be identified and ensured that they get ration cards and their bank accounts are opened.
He said that all the people’s representatives should cooperate in this work in every district.
Union Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey, who attended the video conference, told PTI, “We spoke to the Chief Minister of UP and he told about the actions and steps taken by the state government during the lockdown.
