The Election Commission on Wednesday sought a report from West Bengal Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay about four or five people being attacked by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The Election Commission has also sought a report from Vivek Dubey, Special Police Supervisor, and West Bengal Special Supervisor Ajay Nayak.

On Wednesday, Mamata filed her nomination from the Nandigram seat where she will contest against her former confidant Suvendu Adhikari. The ‘clash of the titans’ has made Nandigram the most visited seat before the election, but Wednesday’s event took the political tempers of the seat up a notch.

The accident happened around 6.15 pm when Mamta was going to leave Birulia when she prayed in a temple. He said, “I was standing outside my car with the door open. I was praying from there looking at a temple. Some people came around my car and pushed the door. The door hit my leg.”

He said the push was deliberate and there were no policemen around. As he complained of leg pain, his stay at Nandigram was halted and he was brought to Kolkata for treatment at SSKM Hospital. A green corridor was built between Kolkata and Purba Medinipur to facilitate the smooth return of their convoy.

Banerjee said she was intentionally pushed by a group of youths, following which she complained of chest pain. There were no policemen around, the CM claimed.

After the attack, he was asked by his security personnel to take him from the front seat to the back of his SUV. A white cloth was also wrapped around his injured leg.

Mamata Banerjee is protected with Z-Plus security and the attack seems “unbelievable” to many BJP leaders. “I think I would like to refrain from commenting. You are all intelligent and have covered things like this (given full details). Our Didi is surprised. These are the signs of the loser and the defeated candidate. That Nandigram Will loses from. ” There will be a change in Bengal, ”said Union Minister Piyush Goyal.

BJP leader Arjun Singh said that it is a drama of sympathy. Is it the Taliban that his convoy was attacked? A huge police force is with him. Who can meet him? Four IPS officers are in charge of its security and should be suspended. The attackers do not get out of where they have to be plagued. Singh pretended to be sympathetic.

In the second phase of the eight-phase election, Nandigram will go to the polls on 1 April. The first phase of voting will take place on 27 March. The results for 294 assembly seats will be announced on 2 May.
