Whatsapp became the big platform for spreading fake news.

Whatsapp a Messaging platform , today published advertisements in key newspapers . The advertisements about to tackle the spread of misinformation, its first such effort to combat a flurry of fake messages that prompted mob killings.

In present time whatsapp became a big market of spreading news with immeidiate effect,for last some weeks Beatings and deaths triggered by false incendiary messages have been trending.

The Whatsapp advertisements urged users to  cautioned them about the spread of fake news and should check information before sharing it .Whatsapp spokesman said in a statement that “We are starting an education campaign in India on how to spot fake news and rumours”.
