Deepika Padukone’s Chhapak and Ajay Devgn’s Tanhai: The Unsung Warrior went head to head at the box office on Friday and their opening day collections continue. The film earned Rs 4.77 crore on the first day, tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Trade expert Akshay Rathi also said, “Champaks can do better in some multiplexes and urban centers. Tanhaji is a mass entertainer and has a pan India appeal, which could be an advantage for Champak. Both films like different types of audiences and both can live in harmony with each other. “
