Senior IPS officer SN Srivastava has been given additional charge of Delhi’s Police Commissioner amidst communal violence over CAA in North East Delhi. After getting the responsibility of the new police chief of Delhi, IPS officer SN Srivastava said on Tahir Hussain that we are trying to bring every convict in the realm of justice. No culprit will be spared.
SN Srivastava will take over the additional charge of the new head of Delhi from Sunday. Explain that Aam Aadmi Party councilor Tahir Hussain has been accused of killing IB officer Ankit Sharma.
Regarding the action against Aam Aadmi Party corporator Tahir Hussain from Nehru Vihar, SN Srivastava told the media that we are trying to bring all the Nadosis under the purview of justice. No one will be spared and we are working on it.
There have been no incidents of violence for the last 60 hours. In the last two days, our police personnel have contacted people and it has been found that all people want peace.
He said that the work of the police has been appreciated by all and people want restoration of peace as soon as possible. Things are fine now and soon everything will be normal.

In the last two days, 331 Aman Committees have met. Where everyone has assured that they are working towards restoring peace.
SN Srivastava will take over after Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik. Amulya Patnaik will be relieved on Saturday.
According to an order of the Union Home Ministry, Srivastava will hold additional charge of Delhi Police Commissioner from Sunday and till further orders.
Before this, the Union Home Ministry on Tuesday appointed IPS officer SN Srivastava from CRPF and appointed Special Commissioner (Law and Order) of Delhi Police to control Delhi violence.
He has served in several posts in the Delhi Police, including the head of the Special Cell, an anti-terrorism specific branch.
Actually, SN Srivastava got this charge at a time when the police are criticizing the violence in Delhi. Not only this, but the court has also reprimanded the Delhi Police for failing to stop the violence in North East Delhi.
Nearly 38 people have died in Jafarabad, Maujpur, Chandbagh, etc. areas of North East Delhi.
SN Srivastava is a 1985 batch officer of AGMUT cadre. Earlier, SN Srivastava was serving as Special Director General (Training) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
