Between the electoral atmosphere, rhetoric on Article 370 in J & K is on full swing. National Conference (NC) leader Farooq Abdullah has given the open threat to the Narendra Modi government on this. On Monday (April 8, 2019) he said, “They talk about ending it. But I say that we will be free from this (from the country). “At the same time, the president of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former CM Mehbooba Mufti, too, is also angry. He has warned the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that Kashmir is sitting on a pile of ammunition. In such a situation, BJP should not flame with the fire.

On the promise of dismissing Article 370 and weakening Article 35A in BJP’s resolution letter, Mehbooba said, “Jammu and Kashmir is already sitting on a pile of ammunition. If this happened, then not only Kashmir but entire country and region will be water. In such a situation, my BJP has an appeal to stop playing with the fire.

In the declaration issued on Monday by the Bharatiya Janata Party, it has been said to remove Section 35A from Jammu and Kashmir. In the manifesto, Section 35A has been described as discriminatory for the non-permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir and for women. In addition to pledging to end Article 370, the party has said that we are firm on our old view of this.

Agnishekhar, the convener of Panun Kashmir, said, “National Conference and PDP have started open anti-separatist and separatist campaign. They are actually working as a proponent of Pakistan and separatist establishments in Jammu and Kashmir. “He said,” We appeal to the Election Commission to know that the national conference in Jammu and Kashmir and the separatist nature of campaigning for PDP Take and hold their candidates against contesting elections in the state. “
