A male foreigner threw himself from the roof of the Grand Mosque in Makkah (Masjid-e-Haram) to the ground floor of the circumambulation nave. Saudi police has announced his death.
According to media spokesman of Makkah police the incident occurred at 9.20 p.m. on Friday. The man died on the spot.
As reported by Al-Arabia.net with reference to a Saudi Press Agency, spokesman informed that the body was rushed to a hospital and investigations are underway to find out man’s identity and the reasons behind his behavior.
