Saharanpur: Amidst the temple-mosque dispute, a meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind was held in Deoband on Saturday. In this, Maulana Mahmud Madani became emotional on the ongoing controversy in the country. He termed it as dividing the people of the country. Jamiat President Maulana Mahmood Madani said in an emotional tone that we have been made strangers in our own country.
We will bear every oppression but will not let the heat come to the country. In Deoband, many important things were said in the meeting regarding the ongoing disputes in the country, especially the Gyanvapi Masjid dispute and the Shahi Idgah Masjid dispute of Mathura.
In this, it was being said that the Muslim side should decide its side on all the disputes. Maulana Madani talked about the country in his speech. Emphasis on social cohesion. Along with this, he also expressed grief over the ongoing Mahabharata on the issue of temple-mosque.
Jamiat President Maulana Mahmood Madani said that the situation in the country is difficult today. He said that there is talk of Akhand Bharat in the country, but the situation has become such that it has become difficult for Muslims to even walk in their own settlement.
The priests of hatred have increased in the country. He read the lion – Those who have left the house empty are remembered by the guests. After this, he said to the throat that we are in such a difficult situation, which cannot be imagined.
Maulana Mahmood Madani said that we will not follow any action plan. Things are difficult. But, this time also there is no need to despair. We will bear the crime but will not let the country suffer. We can compromise on everything, but not with the country. Everyone needs to understand this.
Maulana Madani said that the situation today is very difficult. Our heart knows the difficult times we are in. Our condition is worse than that of a person who has nothing. No one else can guess our situation. It takes courage and strength to face difficulties. We are weak people. Weakness does not mean that we should be suppressed.
Maulana Mahmood Madani said that Jamiat Ulema’s decision that we are messengers of peace and tranquility, then it is okay. If it is the decision of Jamiat Ulema that we will tolerate atrocities. If it is the decision of Jamiat Ulema that we will bear the sorrows, but will not let our country suffer. So this decision of Jamiat is not because of weakness, but because of our strength.
Maulana Mahmood Madani said that we got strength from our Prophet. We can compromise on everything, but we cannot compromise on our faith. Our faith teaches us not to be discouraged.
He said that we do not have to follow his action plan. We need to increase our interaction. Maulana said that those people who create controversy are betraying the country. Trying to break the mutual brotherhood.
Talking to the media after the program, Maulana Madani said that the situation in the country and the silence of the governments on it is regrettable. This situation should be changed. There are people who worry about the country, they have to handle this situation. The divisive atmosphere in the country must be ended.
The hate game has to stop and get it done. Maulana said that Jamiat is also ready to fill the jail if needed. Also, he said that the resolution will come tonight or tomorrow on the Gyanvapi Masjid, Taj Mahal, and Mathura Masjid dispute.
Three resolutions were passed on the first day of the meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. The first proposal has been demanded to take immediate steps in accordance with the recommendations of the 267th report of the Law Commission for the year 2017. It has been said in this report that a separate law should be drafted to punish those who incite violence.
Now March 14 will be celebrated every year as ‘International Day to Combat Islamophobia’. A department has been created on behalf of the Jamiat, this department will develop justice and empowerment initiatives for Indian Muslims, and strategies to combat injustice and oppression. For this, this department will try to work on the ground.
