The five exit polls have projected a comfortable majority for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party, which led a fierce election campaign focusing on the achievements of his government during the last five years.

The exit poll, a poll of voters taken soon after exiting polling stations, projected a huge improvement in seats based on its 2015 performance by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Exit polls often get their numbers wrong.

Times Now-IPSOS         44-50        20-26              0                      0
Republic-John’s Bat      48-61           9-21              0-1                   0
ABP-C voters                  49-63          5-19              0-4                   0
NewsX-Polstrat              50-56          10-14            0-1                    0
India Today-Axis            59-68         2-11               0                       0

(An election exit poll, which is not always called correct, is a poll of voters soon after exiting polling stations.)

In 2015, Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP won 67 out of 70 seats in a record performance, which was considered impossible to replicate from the beginning. The BJP won the remaining three seats.

TimesNow-IPSOS exit poll

The TimesNow-IPSOS exit poll released by the news channel has an estimated 44 seats for the Aam Aadmi Party and 26 for the BJP. According to this exit poll, Congress will not be able to open its account.

NewsX-POLSTRAT

The exit poll released by news channel NewsX-POLSTRAT projected the AAP to have 50-56 seats and the rival BJP for 10-14 seats.

People’s talk

The Republic-Jan talk exit poll has estimated a range of 48 to 61 seats for the AAP and 9-21 for the BJP. It added that Congress could possibly win one seat. According to this exit poll, the AAP was projected to get 51 percent of the votes polled in the assembly elections, with Kejriwal’s party doing a stellar performance of 67 seats in 2015 with a marginal lead of only 54 percent.

ABP News-C Voter
The exit poll of ABP News-C voter has also clarified the estimates of the Aam Aadmi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal when the Aam Aadmi Party erupted after the end of voting. It said that Kejriwal’s party would win a minimum of 49 seats and a maximum of 63 seats in the BJP fold, which could be anywhere from 05-19. Like other exit polls, it says the Congress will finish third with a maximum of four seats.

India Today-Axis Poll
The India Today-Axis Poll has set a cap of 59-68 seats for the AAP, which is better than the number of seats won by the party in 2015 if it is the maximum number of seats projected by the India Today-Axis poll. Exit polls set a 2–11 seat limit for the BJP, which is unlikely to excite party supporters, and no seats for Congress, consistent with estimates from several other polluters.

Delhi Assembly Election Campaign

Exit polls show that the BJP, which was considered a distant few months ago, appears to be returning to the force of its campaign, which focused extensively on Shaheen Bagh and attacked those who were against the citizenship law. – and the AAP was seen to support him as “anti-national”.
