“During the lockdown, no documents or evidence will be sought from the people if they say they are on the roads to provide or benefit from any necessary service.”

“We know that people will face difficulties, but lockdown is necessary to prevent the spread of coronaviruses,” he said.

On Sunday, a restrictive order under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC) which bars the assembly of four or more people was closed in Delhi.

The order prohibits demonstrations, protests, processions among other types of assemblies for social, cultural, political, religious, educational and sports.
