New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday slammed the BSP, alleging that the whip issued to its MLAs in Rajasthan is a clean chit to those who kill democracy and the Constitution.
The BSP on Sunday issued a whip to the six MLAs who left the party to vote against the ruling party in the state in the matter of motion of confidence in the assembly.
“Undisclosed spokespersons of BJP have issued a whip in support of BJP. But, this is not a whip, but a clean chit to those who kill democracy and the Constitution. ‘

While the BSP MLAs have claimed that they have joined the Congress on their own, the BSP has been claiming that since they are a national party, the local unit cannot be merged.
The Congress government in Rajasthan, led by Ashok Gehlot, is facing a crisis after its 19 rebel MLAs, including Sachin Pilot. Gehlot is now keen to prove his majority on the floor of the House and is now demanding a session of the Assembly.
