Bangladesh Prime minister Shaikh Hasina is set to brief the Bangladeshi media at a press conference about the outcomes of her recent visit to Kolkata .
The briefing will be held at her official residence, Ganbhaban, in Dhaka at 4 p.m. today, as per Dhaka Tribune.
Hasina visited West Bengal for two day-May 25-26 on the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi . She was received by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
The three leaders attended the convocation ceremony of the Visva-Bharati University at Santi Niketan.
Both Prime Ministers later inaugurated the Bangladesh Bhavan to symbolically highlight the warm bilateral cultural ties between the two countries.
Prime Ministers Modi and Hasina also held bilateral meetings.
Hasina urged India to ensure the safe repatriation of the Rohingya Refugees back to Myanmar.
Later, Hasina and the West Bengal Chief Minister met at the Taj Bangal hotel for a meeting, where the latter greeted her after she received the Doctorate of Literature (D. Litt) degree by Kazi Nazrul University in Asansole.
