Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday indicated the direction of the assembly elections in Delhi, where his AAP is in a fight with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress.

The Aam Aadmi Party leader tweeted in Hindi after the Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora announced the polling schedule, “This election will be based on work.”

“The date has been fixed after talks with all the stakeholders concerned. Arora said during a press conference that we have the commitments of senior police officers to control law and order and make it conducive for elections.

“The model code of conduct will be implemented with immediate effect,” he said.

The AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal blew the previous assembly elections in 2015 with 67 of the 70 seats and the remaining three went to the BJP.

The three parties have said that they are ready for a high level of election.

The elections in Delhi will be held after the BJP’s defeat in Jharkhand, where it lost to the opposition coalition led by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).

This will be the first election in Delhi when the BJP registered a huge mandate in the Lok Sabha elections last year and captured all seven parliamentary seats in the capital.

The BJP’s Delhi unit has released a document – in which they said a “charge sheet” – of the ruling AAP on Delhi’s water quality, transport infrastructure, measures taken against the air pollution in the city, work done in unauthorized colonies. Criticism.

Arvind Kejriwal said that while reacting to the “arrest”, he said that he would go through the list of charges and would welcome BJP’s suggestions.
