What exactly is legal conversion? From the so-called leaders of right-wing organizations to the screens of news channels and the pages of newspapers, they are filled with propaganda against Muslims. In this episode, comments are made against Muslims and their religion every day on social media, through these institutions/organizations the religion of Muslims is linked to terrorism. But no action is taken against those who make such remarks, spread propaganda. Meanwhile, if any Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui propagates his religion by giving a message of harmony to answer this propaganda, then how did he become a criminal? Whose fault is it if someone converts after being influenced by the real message of Islam given by him? Why Maulana? of Islam? Or the convert? First of all, this is not a crime, because the Indian Constitution has given its citizens the right to convert from religion to conversion and even to become an atheist. Even after this, if a person converts on his own free will, and despite lakhs of efforts, he is not ready for ‘Ghar wapsi’, then who is to blame?

The religious teacher who propagates his religion or the religious one who adopts that religion inspired by that message? After all, what is legal conversion? Even a person having common sense will tell that converting by intimidation, intimidation, greed is not only unrighteous but also a crime of law. But since when did it become a crime to convert voluntarily? Voluntary conversion is not legal, then what is the definition of legal conversion? There are Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jews, Lingayats, Buddhists, Bahis, Parsis, Jains, besides a large number of atheists in this country. The current ruling people, and the administrative staff under them, are currently only considering the people who have converted from Hindu to Muslim as a crime. Will converting from Muslim to Hindu also be put in the category of crime?

People of Banjara caste, living in Majra Dangdugra of Kandhala Mohalla Raizadgan in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, had converted about 12 years ago due to a dispute over a different custom. Last month, the people of BJP and allied organizations have got 19 people from three families of Banjara Samaj to return to Hinduism by doing ‘purification’. What would it be called now? Will UPATS classifies it as an illegal conversion or will it be treated as a valid conversion? It seems that considering the current situation, it will be considered as a valid conversion as the people of Banjara caste have adopted ‘religion’ leaving ‘religion’, so no action will be taken against any Mahant, no bank details will be searched. The story of establishing ‘own rule’ on this country by converting people will not even be fabricated.

Hundreds of people convert in this country every day, some leave their religion and adopt ‘other’ religion, then there are many people who refuse to follow any religion and declare themselves as atheists. It is neither a crime to change from a believer to an atheist in the constitution, nor does changing religion to any other religion come under the category of crime. But despite this, the anti-terror squad of the country has a secular constitution is engaged in ‘saving’ religion. It is engaged in creating legitimate and illegal stories of arbitrary conversions. The Anti-Terrorist Squad protects right-wing organizations calling for ‘Ghar was from open platforms but cracks down on those trying to dispel misconceptions about a particular religion. In view of such developments, it should not be an exaggeration to say that Indian political parties neither believe in secularism nor in democracy, this entire system suffers from majoritarianism.
