CRPF chief Maheshwari said on Tuesday that the Central Reserve Police Force, Central Leeds Insurgency Force, had conducted a massive internal audit to check whether Jammu and Kashmir police officer Davinder Singh, following the arrest of CRPF chief Maheshwari There was an attempt to sabotage within the force. .

Deputy Superintendent of Police of Jammu and Kashmir Police Davinder Singh was arrested on 11 January on charges of complicity with terrorists. Singh’s arrest stunned the Jammu and Kashmir police force but also underscored the possibility that there might be other officers who could side with the terrorists.
Maheshwari, who recently took over the CRPF, said “it was a serious incident …. an area of extreme concern”.
“No security grid should be allowed to be weakened by such episodes. Therefore, all forces have to keep internal surveillance. All forces should maintain vigilance so that there is no such sabotage or any intrusion within the force or anyone tries to cooperate in adverse conditions. This is a serious matter, ”said Maheshwari.
The CRPF, which has deployed around 70,000 personnel in Jammu and Kashmir for security and counter-terrorism operations, Maheshwari said the force again conducted a full investigation. “We are further strengthening our systems, which were already in force,” he said.
Maheshwari said that if something happens somewhere (such as the arrest of Davinder Singh), “it is a case of revisiting ourselves and what we have done and we have no doubt (about the honesty of our personnel in the audit after).”
The Central Police Force, the largest paramilitary force in the world, has an approved force of 3 lakh personnel and is the major force to counter militants in Jammu and Kashmir and Naxalites in the heartland.
“We are constantly conducting such audits because we know three safety principles – that is – sabotage; Access control and anti-sabotage. Therefore, there is alr and Kashmir force and was a separate incident.
“If in an isolated incident, someone does it, it should not be taken as any kind of asphalt on the dignity of force and on the strength of the force… This is, yes, a matter of concern, and all (forces) should see that these things don’t occur,” he said.
