The Bengaluru police chief said that prohibitory orders would be implemented in Bengaluru for three days to maintain law and order from 6 am on Wednesday.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao said, “For the next 3 days, section 144 will be implemented in the entire Bengaluru including rural district from 6 am tomorrow.”

A demonstration is planned at 11 am tomorrow at the Town Hall in Bengaluru.

About 600 km north of Bengaluru, another top police officer, MN Nagaraj, Commissioner of Police of Kalaburagi said that no bandh would be allowed.

Nagaraj said, “No bandh will be allowed in Kalaburagi town tomorrow in view of recruitment examinations of various departments and maintaining communal harmony in the city.”
